ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU MET WITH PRESS MEMBERS

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the President of Atatürk University, convened a meeting with national and local press members in Erzurum. During the meeting, he provided a comprehensive overview of the university's future and the projects it intends to undertake. At the meeting conducted at the Ata Hotel, Hacımüftüoğlu highlighted the significance of the university in the field of education and its social responsibilities. He also disclosed his objectives and strategies to the attendees.

"We Will Work Hard for the Future of Erzurum and Our Country"

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu emphasised the significance of Atatürk University in the context of both Erzurum and the nation's higher education, stating, "I am extremely proud to be assigned this significant responsibility at Atatürk University, the largest educational institution in the East." Hacımüftüoğlu asserted that the university has achieved numerous successful projects as a result of its graduates and qualified academic and administrative staff. He also asserted that the university will demonstrate greater sensitivity to social issues during this period.

The ESAP Fund and the Search for Solutions to the City's Problems

The newly established Erzurum Problems Research Projects (ESAP) fund will provide support for studies that address the city's issues and development areas. Hacımüftüoğlu stated that a special budget will be allocated for this project and stated, "We have a management approach that considers social benefit and we aim to produce solutions to basic problems in this direction."

Critical Procedures in the Pharmaceutical Sector

Hacımüftüoğlu, who also underscored the strategic significance of his research on the pharmaceutical industry, emphasised the challenges that Turkey encounters in this sector. He also stated that they have made substantial strides in overcoming the challenges our country faces in drug production and that they will soon disclose tangible results to the public.

We will unite science and social benefit.

Hacımüftüoğlu, who also underscored the importance of science for the betterment of society, stated, "We have no time to waste." We will mobilise all of our resources to implement initiatives that will support development. Additionally, they will adopt an approach that takes into account the social benefit and academic studies.

Academic Mobility on a Global Scale

"The steps we have taken towards becoming a world university will increase the visibility of our university in the international arena," Hacımüftüoğlu stated, emphasising the significance of attracting international scientists to the university. He also stated that this step will increase academic mobility and that collaborations will be provided with leading academics in their fields.
Preparations for the Research Hospital and Stadium
The current situation of the Research Hospital was evaluated, the problems were identified, and a roadmap for solution suggestions was created, according to Hacımüftüoğlu, who also answered questions from members of the press at the meeting. Additionally, he stated that the university stadium was prepared to host Erzurumspor's matches on a temporary basis.

Sports Projects and High Altitude

Hacımüftüoğlu asserted that the high altitude studies yielded significant findings and highlighted that these initiatives have the potential to draw major football clubs to Erzurum. He stated, "Our objective is to enhance Erzurum's potential and make a positive impact on the city." A Management Approach that is Transparent and Fair

Hacımüftüoğlu declared that their management strategy is impartial, fair, and transparent. He also stated, "We will take all necessary measures with this sensitivity and collaborate in unity and solidarity to advance Erzurum and our nation." The press conference concluded with well-wishes.
