PROF. DR. AHMET HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU, THE RECTOR OF ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY, ATTENDED THE WORLD WATER DAY: WATER EFFICIENCY SUMMIT.

The World Water Day: Water Efficiency Summit was conducted in Istanbul on March 22, in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Zero Waste Foundation, under the patronage of Emine Erdoğan. The summit was attended by a wide range of individuals. On behalf of Atatürk University, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu attended the summit, which is designed to emphasize the sustainable and efficient utilization of water resources.

 Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin, and Minister of Youth and Sports Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, President of Religious Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education, were also in attendance at the summit.

 In addition to the assessment of the existing research on water efficiency, the program also addressed prospective projects that are scheduled for implementation. At the summit, the significance of sustainable policies for the preservation of water resources was underscored, as the water crisis has evolved into a global issue.

 After the summit, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu issued the following statements in his evaluations, emphasizing that water is a treasure of both the present and the future: "Water is the source of life and the guarantee of our future." We were able to closely monitor the studies conducted on the protection and sustainable use of water at this valuable summit, which was convened under the leadership of Mrs. Emine Erdoğan. We will persist in our efforts to advance environmental policies and water efficiency as Atatürk University. I am grateful to all stakeholders, particularly our Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, for their contributions to this significant organization, which is dedicated to safeguarding a valuable resource like water. "We will persist in our efforts to ensure that the world is more livable for future generations."

 Atatürk University will persist in its commitment to the sustainable management and preservation of natural resources through its scientific research and contributions to environmental policies.

 Following the Water Efficiency Summit, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu and the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, participated in the iftar program.
