Atatürk University Senate has issued a thank you message for naming one of the colors of TOGG, the domestic car of the Republic of Türkiye, Oltu. The message included the following statements:
"Our local and national automobile, TOGG, the manufacture of which was lauched with the order of Türkiye's Honorable President Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, with the inspiration of the unique beauties of our Anatolia, took one of its promotional colors in reference to Oltu district of Erzurum, the city where the foundations of our Republic were laid. In particular, it has been a source of great joy for Atatürk University.
We hope that our domestic and national automobile, which takes the color of Oltu stone and carries other colors, too, representing the "glamorous blackness, bright texture and solid structure of Oltu stone", will be beneficial for our country. Remembering our district, which is famous for its precious stone, with TOGG, which is more than an automobile, one of the vision projects of our country, will make a significant contribution to the promotion and brand value of Oltu. Therefore, we would like to thank all the officials who researched this nature color and determined it as the promotional color of TOGG.
In addition, as the Atatürk University family, we declare that we will support with all our being in the steps to be taken towards the strong and confident future of our Türkiye. We express our gratitude and respect to everyone who contributed, as well as the chairman and members of the Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group, which was established in partnership with Anadolu Group, BMC, Turkcell, Zorlu Holding and TOBB."
