Atatürk University completed the Kick Boxing Turkey Championship with 8 medals, organized in Erzurum by the Turkish University Sports Federation (TÜSF).

The championship, hosted by Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and with a participation of 74 universities, was held in 4 different branches. Atatürk University, which won 26 medals in the Turkish Universities Turkcell Winter Sports Games, hosted by TÜSF in Erzurum, once again showed its difference in the field of sports by completing the Kick Boxing Turkey Championship with 8 medals.

Congratulating the successful athletes, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said: "Atatürk University, which does not set any goals other than being successful in every lane it competes in, has achieved significant successes in all the organizations it has participated in, from science to art, from cultural events to sports. It continues to be at the top with its sports achievements as well as making its name known with various artistic and cultural activities. In the current 2021-22 academic year, our athletes, who have gone up to the rostrum in almost all the organizations they competed in and crowned their achievements with cups and medals, finally finished the Kick Boxing Turkey Championship with 8 medals and with various degrees. I would like to thank our successful students, especially their families and coaches, who made us feel proud, and wish them continued success."
