ATATURK UNIVERSITY TOOK ITS PLACE IN TEKNOFEST ADANA
This year, Teknofest, Turkey's largest technology festival, was introduced to technology devotees at Adana Airport, under the auspices of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
At the event, which is attended by 128 institutions, including public institutions, technology titans, universities, and media organisations, Atatürk University extends a warm greeting to its visitors at platform J-12. The Atatürk University stand provides visitors with the opportunity to closely examine the university's innovative initiatives, while young people are informed about the educational and research opportunities available at the university.
The Ata-Teknokent's initiatives and the Astrophysics Research and Application Center's practical demonstrations at the Atatürk University stand garner significant attention from attendees. Among the festival's most notable events are the micro telescope observations of the heavens, which children in particular observe with curiosity. The experts at the exhibit provide a comprehensive overview of the scientific studies and technological projects of Atatürk University, as well as an explanation of the university's contributions to innovation and technology.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu: "We are cultivating the next generation of leaders who will shape the future."
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, underscored the significance of Teknofest as one of the most significant events in the field of technology and science in Turkey. He also expressed his pride in being a member of this organisation as a university. Rector Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "Our university equips our students with the necessary skills for the future through our innovative and practical projects, in addition to our theoretical education." This vision is reflected in the research conducted at Ata-Teknokent and the exhibitions of our Astrophysics Research Centre. We are present to cultivate the future leaders of technology, science, and engineering.
Hacımüftüoğlu asserted that Teknofest provides exceptional opportunities for young individuals to engage with technology and create innovative projects. He further stated, "Our nation is currently engaged in projects that are the subject of global discussion as a result of the leadership of our young people in the technology production industry." We, at Atatürk University, are privileged to be a part of this endeavour.
