ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY ASSUMED ITS POSITION AT TEKNOFEST

The Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology launched the third and final stage of Turkey's first and only aviation, space, and technology festival TEKNOFEST this year in Izmir. Additionally, Atatürk University participated in the event as a stakeholder university.

The festival will feature numerous scientific, cultural, and artistic events.

Atatürk university, Which has participated in the festival held at Izmir Airport and will meet technology enthusiasts through October 1st, has begun to host its visitors with its departments that conduct research on technological developments.

The festival will feature a variety of science, culture, and arts events, including technology competitions, air shows, concerts, talks, and science demonstrations. Additionally, technology and entrepreneurship competitions will be conducted. During the event, music lovers will be able to experience the stage through the "Stage is Yours" event, which will be conducted twice daily, in the morning and afternoon. Visitors who wish to participate in the festival's enthusiasm can register through the TEKNOFEST website and mobile application.

Rector Çomaklı: "The Festival's Participating Works Inspire Hope for the Future."

Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Rector of Atatürk University, evaluated the festival as follows: "We are so proud of organizing a world-renowned technology and aviation festival every year in Turkey, and we are pleased to participate in the festival as a stakeholder university."

Rector Çomaklı remarked, "TEKNOFEST has once again kicked off magnificently and continues. We have displayed a wide range of university research, from astronomy to engineering products, medical advances to agricultural advancements, as well as providing technical information. We are incredibly pleased that such a prestigious technology and aviation festival has originated in our country and is followed worldwide. As Atatürk University, we have reclaimed our position at Teknofest and greeted our visitors. Here, we amuse visitors and children with a variety of activities, as well as informing guests about our work."

He noted that he believes the five-day event, which will include technology competitions, air displays, concerts, and interviews, will also be beneficial for the university. Çomaklı continued, "The participation of bright young people with very good ideas and valuable works that give us hope for the future will make us hopeful for the future. It lends us even more hope. We constantly endeavor to raise a generation of young people with such ambitions and aspirations, and we develop projects in this direction. With these ideas in mind, I believe that TEKNOFEST İzmir will be a success, and I wish the attendees a five-day event filled with technology and science."
