ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICE WON TÜBİTAK-1513 SUPPORT
Atatürk University was entitled to be supported with the TÜBİTAK-1513 Technology Transfer Offices Support Program, which is the most comprehensive and prestigious program of our country for Technology Transfer Offices (TTO), where only 5 universities are supported.
Atatürk University Technology Transfer Office took its place among the universities to be supported by TÜBİTAK 1513 Program which is implemented by Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) to give support to Technology Transfer Offices to realize university-industry cooperation, to ensure universities' benefiting from national and and international support mechanisms to encourage the entrepreneurship.

Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that they started to bear the fruits of the New Generation University Design and Transformation, being so happy with this success. Rector Çomaklı pointed out that they have achieved significant successes in many areas as a university. Regarding their entitlement to be supported with TÜBİTAK-1513 Technology Transfer Offices Support Program, he added “Technology Transfer Offices are transformed into commercialization by transforming the information and technology produced in universities into an application and they are the units that play an important role in gaining cultural value." In this context, our university continues to receive support for many projects it has produced in order to contribute to the collaboration among private sector organizations, to produce the knowledge and technology required by the industry at the university, to transfer information and technology between the university and industry as a result of these collaborations, and to develop concrete outputs.”
Çomaklı thanked everyone who contributed to this success of Technology Transfer Office, adding that Atatürk University will continue to develop projects, do research and serve the country with its well-equipped staff and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
