'THE 2023 Topic Ranking (World University Rankings by Subject)' data prepared by the UK-based international higher education rating agency Times Higher Education (THE) has been announced. Atatürk University succeeded in ranking in 5 of 11 main topics.
Times Higher Education, one of the most respected university ranking institutions in the world, where 1,799 universities are evaluated, has announced its 2023 Subject Rankings. Accordingly, in the main subject of Life Sciences, Atatürk University ranked 2nd among Turkish universities by placing in the 501-600 band in the world ranking in 2023, while it has been in the sub-topics of Agriculture and Forestry (Agriculture & Forestry) and Veterinary Science for the last 3 years, including the 1st place. In addition, in Biological Sciences (Biological Sciences) and Sports Sciences (Sport Sciences) sub-topics, it has succeeded in ranking 2nd among Turkish universities. Maintaining its place in the ranking compared to the previous year in the main subject of Physical Sciences (501-600) in 2023, it is the 2nd in Turkey in the sub-topics of Geology and Environment, Earth and Marine Sciences (Geology, Environmental, Earth & Marine Sciences). Ataturk University has also succeeded in being in the top 1000 among world universities in the main topics of Education (501-600), Medicine and Health (801+), and Engineering (801-1000).
