He further stated that the success momentum of the university is gradually increasing, as it rates even higher in field-based evaluations. Our university, which has been recognised for its success and has taken on a significant responsibility by being designated as a Research University, was re-accredited by YÖKAK for the innovative research it has conducted in this area. I am confident in the favourable feedback we have received from the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, given the substantial increases in the number of projects, patent applications, and accredited departments. This significant achievement demonstrates our unwavering commitment to our objective of consistent improvement in the quality of our university's scientific research and education. The fact that our university is ranked 785th in the world classification is a clear indication that we are making significant progress towards our objective of becoming one of the top 500 universities. The scientific contributions of our students, our strong academic staff, and devoted and disciplined work are the reasons for this success.
"None of these achievements are coincidental"Rector Çomaklı emphasised that Atatürk University has enhanced its international visibility in the field of science through its activities in pursuit of its internationalisation mission, which are in accordance with its qualified scientists, well-equipped infrastructure, and academic accomplishments. "We are collectively committed to ensuring that our country's name is more prominently recognised in the international scientific community, and we are conducting research to achieve this goal." One of our most critical objectives as a university is to be recognised as one of Turkey's premier higher education institutions and to be ranked among the top 500 universities worldwide. We articulate this objective at nearly every opportunity; however, it is a source of great pride for us to be recognised by prestigious international rating organisations. Certainly, the accomplishments of our institution are not a mere coincidence; they are the result of the diligent efforts of each member of our extensive and deeply rooted family.
"We will celebrate many more successes together"Rector Çomaklı expressed his gratitude to all university members who contributed to the significant success of Atatürk University, stating, "We will continue to work with determination to maintain excellence in scientific research and education and to continue to add value to our country."
