At Ankara ATO Congresium; Atatürk University took its place in the fair at Ankara ATO Congresium held with the contributions of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Presidency of Defense Industry.

The fair aims to exhibit advanced technological products that support the increase of productivity in Turkey to introduce the works to large masses, and to use technological developments efficiently in all fields. In addition to Atatürk University participating with the Eastern Anatolia High Technology Application and Research Center (DAYTAM), Eastern Anatolia Observatory, Open Education Faculty and ATA Technopolis, 101 companies and 34 start-ups participated in the fair, which focused on smart solution technologies that will shed light on the future in the informatics, industry, education, energy, agriculture, communication, health and transportation sectors, especially in the defense industry.

Rector Çomaklı: “We participated in the fair at the highest level”

Pointing out that Atatürk University has a strong infrastructure, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said that their aim in participating in the 4th Efficiency and Technology Fair, which was held this year, is to introduce the inventions and projects of Atatürk University, as well as to convey the activities of academicians to the participants. He also made the following statements: “This year's Turkish Productivity and Technology Fair is a one that will give a preliminary assessment of which direction we will direct our investments and researches, taking into account the evolving needs of technology in the world and the future perspective. This environment is the search for a possible market for the tools produced and the patented products produced by the academic staff. We look at this fair in different dimensions, which started on May 18 and will last for 4 days. So we have achieved the highest level of participation.”

Purpose of Efficiency and Technology Fair

Turkish Productivity and Technology Fair aims to exhibit technological products that contribute to increasing productivity in our country and in the world, to introduce these studies to large masses and to raise awareness in the field of productivity. The other aims of the fair are to establish close relations with local and foreign companies and organizations, to exchange projects, offers and products, and to establish cooperation with this fair.
