ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY CONDUCTS FOREIGN LANGUAGE EXAMS

Atatürk University,  successfully carring out the distance education system during the Covid 19 pandemic process, also conducts many foreign language exams online in accordance with pandemic rules.

Atatürk University International Language Exams Coordinatorship, which has sufficient infrastructure and knowledge about foreign language exam, conducted the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) language exam, which is an internationally valid exam system.

The coordinatorship, which conducted half-capacity exams due to the Covid 19 pandemic, completed the IELTS exam, in which 9 people participated, in two sessions, in the morning and in the afternoon.

In the exam, where computers are disinfected before and after the session, candidates are given masks and surgical gloves if they wish. Hot drink is also offered while the HES code is checked at the entrance to the exam.

While the IELTS exam, which includes candidates from Malatya and Erzincan, is held every two months, candidates from outside Erzurum can benefit from the guest houses at affordable prices.

TOEFL, PTE Academic, Cambridge, Oxford English exams and international Russian exams are also held by the International Language Exams Coordination Office.

Making a statement on the subject, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that the International Language Exams Coordinatorship hosts candidates from all over Turkey regarding language exams, and said that Atatürk University is working diligently on this issue.

Emphasizing that the exams are carried out professionally and without compromising the principle of transparency, Rector Çomaklı also stated that this exam method is one of the healthiest exam methods.
