ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY HAS BEEN ENTITLED TO RECEIVE GRANTS IN ALL OF ITS APPLICATIONS.

Within the scope of the "Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility Between Partner Countries and Program Countries - ERASMUS+ KA171" project carried out by the Atatürk University Foreign Relations Office, Atatürk University is among the higher education institutions that passed the quality assessment and received funding from Turkey with 20 different country projects.

In line with internationalization strategies, Atatürk University, which prepares projects to provide geographical diversity for its students, and academic and administrative staff in the context of mobility, was awarded 179 thousand 730 Euros for cooperation with 20 countries from different geographical regions of the world.

Within the scope of the KA171 Project, which has 12 different categories in terms of budgeting, 20 of the 21 country projects presented in 9 categories received project support. Under the coordination of the Foreign Relations Office, academic staff and students in the new term; United States in the USA and Canada category; In the Asian category, India, Indonesia, Malaysia; Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo in the Western Balkans category; Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine in the Eastern Partnership category; Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco in the Southern Mediterranean category; Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the Central Asia category; Papua New Guinea in the Pacific category; It will be able to carry out education, internship and personnel mobility with higher education institutions in Ghana and Kenya in the Russia category and Sub-Saharan Africa category.

Stating that Atatürk University, which has been carrying out the Erasmus+ Program successfully since 2009, continues to add to its successes both with countries outside Europe and with central projects, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı pointed out that great importance is attached to internationalization within the scope of the "New Generation University Design and Transformation Project", and that the university has a high potential in terms of becoming an international center of attraction, and with the bilateral agreements made and the mobility programs carried out, significant advances and improvements are made every year compared to the previous years. He said gains were made.

Çomaklı stated that Atatürk University, which introduces hundreds of students and staff to education and work experience abroad every year, is entitled to receive a grant of 176 thousand 900 Euros within the scope of Erasmus+ European Countries and Student and Personnel Mobility in Higher Education (KA131) Project.
