ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY INITIATED ITS SUMMER SCHOOL.

The 2023-2024 Summer School application at Atatürk University commenced with a total of 7,273 candidates, of whom 2,553 were from 150 different universities. Between July 16 and September 1, 2024, the summer school will conduct educational activities that began with students enrolling in 403 courses across 34 disciplines and 13 units.

This application, which supports the academic and personal development of students, helps reinforce the university's educational quality and student-oriented approach by contributing to corporate awareness and brand value, allowing students from other universities to get to know the city, and allowing students to experience the privilege of studying at Atatürk University.

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that the summer school application is of great importance in terms of our students being able to continue their education process uninterruptedly and improving themselves in the subjects they are deficient in, thereby contributing to the recognition and preference of Atatürk University as an innovative and dynamic educational institution. "We offer a learning environment that is both academically and socially stimulating, with students from universities. At Atatürk University, we will persist in providing innovative and adaptable solutions to accommodate our students' requirements." said the rector.

"Students are afforded the opportunity to explore the historical and cultural treasures of Erzurum."

"The summer school is of great value not only to the students but also to the city of Erzurum," Çomaklı stated, emphasizing that students will have the opportunity to enhance their academic performance through the intensive program of the summer school and to take advantage of the social and cultural opportunities provided by Atatürk University. The city's economic and cultural vitality is bolstered by thousands of students who attend the university, providing them with the opportunity to explore the historical and cultural treasures of Erzurum. Our university, which has a rich 67-year history, continues to provide higher education to the nation by educating hundreds of thousands of students and hosting guest students from various universities. He concluded his remarks by asserting, "We will persist in our efforts to advance the interests of our country and nation in accordance with the vision of our New Generation University."
