A theatrical show was held by the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality City Council Youth Assembly, hosted by Atatürk University, to remember our martyrs on the occasion of the 18 March Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs' Day.
At the show that took place in the Atatürk University Central Dining Hall, young people dressed as soldiers and nurses positioned at various parts of the Hall, reciting poems to mark the meaning and importance of the day, and unfurled the Turkish Flag. While eating their meals, students watched the show with great interest. The remembrance of this victory, which was won 107 years ago, brought along emotional moments in the watchers.
After the show, grape compote, which is frequently available on the menu of Turkish soldiers fighting in the Dardanelles Battle, was served to the students with a view to making them rememer those days.
