APRIL 23 ENTHUSIASM AT ATATURK UNIVERSITY...
At a ceremony hosted by Atatürk University, the 105th anniversary of the inauguration of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the National Sovereignty and Children's Day on April 23 were celebrated with tremendous enthusiasm.
Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi and his wife Azime Çiftçi, 9th Corps and Garrison Commander Major General Tuncay Altuğ, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen, Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Erdoğan Güleç, Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Deputy Governors, central district governors, institution directors, academics, parents, teachers, and students attended the ceremony hosted by Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu at the Cultural Center
The program commenced with the singing of the National Anthem and a moment of silence. Afterward, the students of Palandöken Şehit Murat Ellik Primary School, Palandöken Kayakyolu Primary School, Yakutiye Kocatepe Primary School, and Yakutiye Tatbikat Primary School created unforgettable experiences for the guests who filled the hall with the oratorio, folk dances, Kazan Tatars National Dance "Heritage," poetry recitals, and bağlama concert they had prepared.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, stated at the conclusion of the program that the light in children's eyes is the most vivid expression of hope for the future of the country. He further stated, "This special holiday that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk presented to children is one of the most valuable symbols of our nation's struggle for independence and sovereignty." At Atatürk University, we will always remain committed to supporting the educational, artistic, and cultural growth of our children. We, the university community, are resolute in our commitment to ensuring that they can reside in a world that is fair, tranquil, and free. I genuinely extend my congratulations to all of our children on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day. I am optimistic that this significant day, which enables us to envision the future with optimism, will bring peace and joy to our nation and all children worldwide..
The students were accompanied by the participants in acclaim after the performances, which concluded the program.
