In the month of breast cancer awareness celebrated by Atatürk University with various activities throughout October, the A to Z Breast Cancer Meeting, prepared by the General Surgery Department of the Faculty of Medicine, was held.

In the program held in the Blue Hall of the Cultural Center, women were advised to apply to screening programs to detect breast cancer early, and relevant clinics gave information about all stages of breast cancer, from diagnosis to treatment.

at the meeting, moderated by Prof. Dr.Müfide Nuran Akçay; speakers informed the guests about all stages of breast cancer and its treatment titled "What is Breast Cancer? What are scanning programs?";  Assoc. Dr. Erdem Karadeniz, on the subject of radiological imaging in breast cancer, Prof. Dr. Fatih Alper, on the subject of breast cancer surgical treatment, Dr. Murat Kartal, on the subject of breast cancer pathology, Assoc.Prof. Sevilay Akalp Özmen, on the subject of chemotherapy in breast cancer, Dr. Mehmet Emin Büyükbayram on the subject of radiotherapy in breast cancer.

At the end of the meeting, the questions from the audience were answered by the experts and various recommendations were made.
