ORIENTATION PROGRAM "WELCOME TO CAMPUS" COMMENCES AT ATATURK UNIVERSITY
Atatürk University has initiated the "Welcome to Campus" Orientation Program to welcome the 2024-2025 academic year. The objective of the program, which is scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 2, is to facilitate the transition of newly enrolled students to campus life.
The events are designed to offer new students a more comprehensive understanding of university life by featuring informative presentations on a variety of topics, including Erzurum's social and cultural life, student relations, career planning, and the appropriate use of social media. The orientation program will commence at 11:00 a.m. on September 30, 2024, in front of the Garaj Reading Hall. A mini concert, a DJ performance, and a member ensemble will comprise the opening events. The program will conclude on October 2, 2024, with indigenous dance performances and musical events, followed by Tabya Tours.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu: "Our Orientation Program Will Provide Our Students with a Strong Start to Their Educational Life"
In his assessment of the orientation program, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our students who have enrolled this year." I am optimistic that the upcoming academic year will be both fruitful and productive for all of us. Our orientation program is a critical component that will ensure that our students have a solid foundation for their academic careers and a greater understanding of our university and Erzurum. We will persist in offering our students all the requisite opportunities to enhance their performance in all areas. We will also persist in providing them with academic and personal assistance through cultural and social events.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu announced that the Atatürk University family is committed to providing its new students with the best possible start in both their academic and social lives. He also mentioned that information meetings will be held on topics such as exchange programs, time management, and career planning within the program. Additionally, the new students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the city more closely through Tabya Trips, which will allow them to experience the historical and cultural significance of Erzurum.
