The Welcome to Campus Orientation Programme, which is prepared for new students enrolled in faculties and colleges in order to facilitate students' adaptation to campus life, to help them get to know the structure and facilities of the university and to accelerate the acclimatisation process, started with enthusiasm at Atatürk University.

In the programme, which will be held on 3-5 October 2023, information meetings are held in the Culture Center 15 July National Will Hall and Blue Hall in order to ensure that newly enrolled students make a smooth transition from secondary education to higher education programmes and to be informed in detail about life on campus, education, transportation, nutrition, housing, health, sports, etc.

The meetings, where academicians and representatives from central directorates, departments and non-governmental organisations provide information to students, will continue for 3 days.

In the Garage Reading Hall, which has hosted important organisations of Atatürk University in recent years, student communities, university unions, public institutions and NGOs and other student organisations have set up informative stands. In addition, students will have an unforgettable start to the new academic year with climbing, rafting, games and concerts.

Wishing the 2023-2024 Academic Year to be beneficial to the Atatürk University family, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that the pioneering structure of Atatürk University is blended with education, sports, art, science, culture and social life, and that it is a university that shares its experience and knowledge with everyone in need.

Stating that the academic success of the university is supported by its publications and scientific studies, different projects extending from the sky to the ground, innovative policies, support for different fields, investments in health, sports and arts, Rector Çomaklı said: "It is a privilege to be a part of the Atatürk University family. Our students will experience and see that it is a privilege to be a student of Atatürk University during their education and after graduation. Our academicians will equip our students with the right technical knowledge in a wide range of opportunities according to the conditions of our country and will turn them into scientists who are beneficial to society. A campus where brotherhood, culture of democracy, and sharing are dominant and which can meet all social and cultural needs is waiting for our students. Our university, which stands by our students with all its facilities throughout their education life, aims to continue this mission in the future and aims to raise honest, moral, controlled, determined, patient and persevering young people who know their national and spiritual values."

The 2023-2024 Welcome to Campus Orientation Programme, which includes various information meetings, concerts and events, will continue for three days.
