The results of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) have been announced. Accordingly, sixty thousand four hundred and seventy-eight students, including twelve thousand eight hundred and ninety-four formal and forty-seven thousand five hundred open and distance education faculties, enrolled at Atatürk University. According to these results, Atatürk University attained a 100 percent occupancy rate by occupying all available quotas.

With the announcement of the preference results, Atatürk University, which did not break with tradition this year, became the students' top choice and achieved full occupancy in all departments.

In light of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, Atatürk University, which has been fully accredited by the Higher Education Quality Board (YOKAK) as a result of the evaluations made by the Higher Education Quality Board (YOKAK) and then received the title of Research University with its 67 years of experience and contributions to the country's higher education system, has received the title of Research University.

 According to the results of YKS-2023, 7 thousand 620 students were placed in undergraduate departments and 5 thousand 274 students were placed in associate degree departments, for a total of 12 thousand 894 formal students; Additionally, 10 thousand 820 students were registered in undergraduate departments and 36 thousand 764 students were registered in associate degree departments, for a total of 60 thousand 478 students, including 47 thousand 584 Open and Distance Education Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the university's rector, thanked the students who chose Atatürk University and stated, "After a rigorous exam marathon, youthful university applicants made their selections and settled in higher education institutions. Registration Procedures can be Completed Via E-Government

According to the results of the 2023-YKS, the registration process for candidates who are eligible to enroll in a program will take place between 28 August and 1 September 2023, while electronic registrations will take place between 28 and 30 August 2023.
