KUDAKAF'23 PROVINCIAL PROTOCOL AND SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES MEETING WAS HELD AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY

The Northeast Anatolia Career Fair (KUDAKAF'23), which was planned to be held on 15-16 March 2023, but postponed to a later date due to the 6 February Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, will be hosted by Atatürk University between 18-19 December.

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı came together with the city administrators in the Provincial Protocol and Sector Representatives Meeting programme organised before KUDAKAF'23, which will be held with the cooperation of 7 universities.

Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Zafer Aynalı, Bar Association President Av. Talat Göğebakan, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Metin Düz, Provincial Police Chief Kadir Yırtar, Yakutiye Mayor Mahmut Uçar, public institutions and organisations executives and NGO representatives attended the meeting.

Rector Çomaklı stated that KUDAKAF, which will be held in cooperation with universities, public and private sector institutions and professional chambers with the theme of ‘Talent is Everywhere’ under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office, will play an active role in bringing students and employers together as it has been so far, and emphasised the importance of cooperation between public institutions and organisations in the city for the successful realisation of the event.

Stating that they are extremely happy to host the career fair for the 3rd time this year, Rector Çomaklı stated that the event will not only mediate hundreds of thousands of young people to meet with employers and benefit from employment opportunities, but also enable employers of all scales who need qualified human resources to communicate directly with young people.

‘We will successfully realise KUDAKAF’23 together with our stakeholders’

Rector Çomaklı Çomaklı: ‘The fair will include activities such as stands, interviews, B2B, project market, interview rooms, job club and CV submission for students. Promotion and communication will also be provided through the website, social media, written and printed materials, radio and TV channels. DAKAF, which we organised in 2022 with the support of our universities, Erzurum Governorship and Metropolitan Municipality and all public institutions, was very successful and made a sound throughout the country. After DAKAF 2022, which was selected as the most satisfied career fair for students, we received a success award from our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Being deemed worthy of the award was a great source of pride for Atatürk University. In 2023, we will successfully realise KUDAKAF together with our stakeholders.’

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir, who made a general information presentation about KUDAKAF'23, received the opinions and suggestions of the guests.

Stating that 500 companies are targeted to participate in the fair this year, Sözbilir said that it is important for students to register for KUDAKAF'23 through the talent gate before the fair and that they expect support from stakeholder institutions in this regard. The programme continued with good wishes and wishes and ended with a question and answer session.
