KVKK TRAININGS CONTINUE AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY

Personnel training, which is one of the administrative measures to be taken within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), started with the cooperation of Atatürk University Data Management Office and Atatürk University Continuing Education Center (ATASEM).

"Certified KVKK Trainings" conducted by the academic and administrative staff working within the Data Management Office in the Faculties of Literature, Science, Architecture and Design have been successfully completed. In the trainings in which KVKK is explained with measures to ensure data and information security, personal data and special quality personal data, information is conveyed to the academic and administrative staff of the faculties and their graduate students, while studies for certification exams continue.

During the trainings that will last throughout the year, academic and administrative staff and graduate students in faculties, institutes, colleges, vocational schools, research and application centers, departments, offices and coordinators within Atatürk University will be trained and the staff will be informed on various subjects.

Data Management Office and Certified KVKK Training Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Gökay Akkaya pointed out that Atatürk University is one of the institutions that showed the fastest adaptation among the institutions and organizations that registered in the VERBIS system, and said that the university also started personnel training, which is one of the administrative measures stipulated by the law, and that a great way was covered in the planning of the trainings. Stating that the trainings will be completed within the time, Akkaya thanked Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı and the senior management.
