ON-CAMPUS FOREIGN TRADE EDUCATION WAS OFFERED TO STUDENTS AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY.
Atatürk University initiated hosting the Ministry of Commerce Foreign Trade Training Program on Campus, which was organized and conducted in collaboration with the Eastern Anatolia Exporters Association, the Ministry of Commerce, and Halkbank.
Academicians and students, in addition to representatives of the Eastern Anatolia Exporters Association, the Ministry of Commerce, and Halkbank, participated in a training program held in the Blue Hall of the Cultural Center. Vital information regarding national and international exports was imparted to the students of today, who will become the exporters of tomorrow.
During the program, representatives from the Commercial Information, Communication Services and Women-Youth Department, the General Directorate of Export, Trade Expert Asım Çalış, Engineer Abdullah Dursun from the SME and Cluster Support Department of the General Directorate of Export, and Serdar Alici, Manager of the Halkbank Entrepreneurial Banking Department, discussed the objectives of international trade and the resources available within academic institutions to university youth.
Youth education and awareness regarding exports was the primary objective of the occasion, with the intention of inspiring them to make meaningful contributions to the export sector. Participants who attended the program and had an interest in international trade and exports, particularly those enrolled in the Vocational School of Social Sciences and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, were awarded digital participation certificates.
