"INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS IN SOCIAL AND HUMAN SCIENCES" DISCUSSED AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY

Atatürk University hosted the meeting on "Innovative Solutions in Social and Human Sciences and Research Projects Support Program" for researchers in the field of social and human sciences.

The program held at the Cultural Center July 15th National Will Hall and the Blue Hall; Atatürk University Vice Rectors Prof. Ayşe Bayrakçeken Yurtcan, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özer, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir, Prof. Dr. Turgut Gögebakan, as well as Project Development and Coordination Office team, invited speakers and many academics from social and human sciences attended.

The two-day program carried out by Atatürk University Project Development and Coordination Office; "ARDEB Support Programs and Innovations" by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) Research Support Programs Presidency (ARDEB) Vice President Prof Dr Nurper Güz, TÜBİTAK TEYDEB Vice President Dr Alp Eren Yurtseven and SOBAG Group Coordinator Alperen Zekeriya Karataş -SOBAG Support Programs and Innovations" and "TEYDEB Support Programs and Innovations".

In the information meeting, first of all; Prof. Dr. Nurper Güz, Vice President of ARDEB within the body of TÜBİTAK, gave information to the participants about ARDEB, which is responsible for ensuring the internal and external cooperation of research and development activities. This unit, which is a very important institution for the country's higher education; Stating that she acts as a bridge between research groups, universities, public institutions and organizations, real and legal persons, Prof. Dr. Güz gave information about academic R&D supports in the field of social and human sciences and the issues to be considered in project writing.

TÜBİTAK TEYDEB Vice President Dr Alp Eren Yurtseven; It was underlined that the academy would be supported by TÜBİTAK in revealing the areas of need for developing innovative solutions in the academy, social and human sciences, and improving academic activities in this field.

Social and Human Sciences Research Support Group (SOBAG) Coordinator Alperen Zekeriya Karataş gave information about academic R&D supports with an emphasis on social and human sciences and focused on the problems, demands and needs of researchers in social and human sciences. Karataş evaluated the improvements that can be made in line with the problems and demands of researchers in the humanities.

At the meeting, where innovative solutions were discussed in every aspect, TÜBİTAK and the academic side, under the management criteria of the supported project, its contribution to the establishment of scientific foundations and technological advances in the development of public policies was also mentioned.

Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ayşe Bayrakçeken Yurtcan, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir, Prof. Dr. Huseyin Ozer and Prof. Dr. Turgut Gogebakan, ARDEB and TEYDEB Supports, academic R&D supports, support statistics, processes and issues to be considered in project writing were discussed with an emphasis on social and human sciences. The questions posed by the participants were answered by the vice presidents.
