63 PROJECTS FROM ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY QUALIFIED TO BE SUPPORTED BY TUBITAK
Atatürk University, which is a giant science center with its cultural and scientific tradition, well-equipped infrastructure, faculties, research centers, institutes, vocational schools and thousands of academicians who are experts in their fields, continues to make a name for itself in the national and international arena thanks to the quality education it provides to its students.
The support results of the applications made to the program within the scope of the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program" 2022/2 period carried out by the TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Presidency (BİDEB) have been announced.
In this context, 63 projects prepared by Atatürk University students together with their advisors were awarded the right to be supported by TÜBİTAK and achieved significant success. Atatürk University achieved a significant success in the 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program, in which the project developed by 23 programs from 12 faculties and 3 programs from 2 vocational schools will be supported.
Congratulating the students and academic advisors for their success, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that the target set by Atatürk University is to be among the top 5 universities in Turkish Higher Education and among the top 500 universities in the world rankings, and said that the university has taken big and bold steps in this sense from the very first day, and has established its policies and started to implement them with determination.
Çomaklı stated that students and academicians are also moving towards the same goal in line with these policies. He stated that as a university, studies are carried out with the aim of being a research-oriented university that produces universally qualified scientific knowledge, carries out R&D activities, develops technology, transforms it into patents and uses the science it produces for the benefit of society
