For the inaugural time, Atatürk University conducted the "Corporate Loyalty and Service Awards Ceremony" as a gesture of gratitude to its employees who retired after years of service to the institution. In the Prof. Dr. Kemal Bıyıkoğlu Hall of the Cultural Center, a ceremony was conducted to recognize the personnel who retired from the General Secretariat and affiliated entities after August 16, 2024.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, began his opening address by recognizing the contributions of the personnel who have contributed to the university's development. He stated, "Atatürk University is a large family that is shaped by a deep-rooted tradition and a sense of belonging, transcending the confines of an educational institution." During their tenure in office, each member of this family has made a valuable contribution to the advancement of our university by utilizing their experiences and knowledge. We are currently experiencing a mixture of emotions as we bid farewell to our esteemed colleagues who have dedicated a significant amount of time to our university. Your loyalty and devotion to the institution, as well as the traces you have left behind, will always serve as a source of inspiration for us. "We, the Atatürk University family, extend our best wishes for a retirement life that is both happy and peaceful," he concluded.


Certificates of appreciation and plaques were presented to the retired personnel following the remarks. The retired personnel shared their years and memories under the roof of Atatürk University during the ceremony, which was replete with emotive moments, and bid farewell.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo, and the participants expressed their satisfaction with this significant organization that maintains the university's culture of loyalty.
