A NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ATATURK UNIVERSITY:
STUDENTS WILL BOTH WORK AND LEARN…

A comprehensive cooperation protocol was inked between Atatürk University and the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) Erzurum Provincial Directorate within the framework of the "İŞKUR Youth Program" that was declared by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and is intended for nationwide implementation. Thanks to this protocol, 1,750 students at Atatürk University will have the opportunity to labour and earn an income.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu and İŞKUR Erzurum Provincial Director Abdulkadir Mutlu were present at the signing ceremony, which took place at the Rectorate. In order to better equip university students for the business world, this collaboration seeks to provide financial assistance and professional experience to young individuals.

At the protocol ceremony, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "Our students will have the opportunity to earn income and enjoy substantial security by being insured, all within the framework of the İŞKUR Youth Program." I am grateful to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for their leadership in the development of this initiative. The program, which will offer students the chance to develop their individual skills and receive financial support, is viewed by Rector Hacımüftüoğlu as a significant employment initiative for the future of the country. He stated, "We have signed a protocol with İŞKUR to ensure that this valuable project reaches our students as soon as possible." This program will provide 1750 students at our university with the opportunity to work in various departments. They will both pursue further education and accumulate substantial business experience. We are confident that this initiative will enhance the professional development of our children and enhance their personal growth. "I trust that it will be advantageous to our institution and our students," he stated.

Mutlu, Director of İŞKUR, stated, "We will assist young individuals in transitioning to the business world."

Abdulkadir Mutlu, the Provincial Director of İŞKUR Erzurum, discussed the benefits that the program will offer students. He stated, "Our students will be better equipped for the business world and will acquire work experience without disrupting their education." He stated, "Our objective is to expedite the transition of our youth to the labour market through the implementation of such initiatives."

While their education is ongoing, Atatürk University students will have the opportunity to generate income by working during specific hours within the protocol's scope. Furthermore, the youth will receive a variety of training sessions that are specifically tailored to the labour market, which will further their personal and professional growth.

What is the İŞKUR Youth Program?

The İŞKUR Youth Program was established to facilitate the adaptation of young individuals to the labour market and the acquisition of experience in a variety of sectors. The program is tailored to university students and is designed to equip them with practical knowledge and skills prior to their transition into the business world. Students will embark on significant career journeys by gaining experience in specific sectors and within their universities.

This collaboration provides a distinctive opportunity for students at Atatürk University and will significantly enhance the personal and professional growth of the young. It is anticipated that the program will facilitate the growth of both the local corporate community and university students.

In the future, the appropriate institutions will disclose the protocol's specifics to the public.
