Prof. Dr. Abdülaziz Nurullayev, Vice Rector of Uzbekistan State University of Arts and Civilisation, who came to Atatürk University to hold talks and sign a protocol with Atatürk University Faculty of Fine Arts Performing Arts Department on undergraduate and graduate education and teaching staff requirements, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

Prof. Dr. Nurullayev, who met with Rector Çomaklı together with Prof. Dr. Şemseddin Osmanov and Assoc. Dr. Behzat Memetkuolv, faculty members of the Department of Theatre of Uzbekistan State University of Arts and Civilisation, was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Yunus Berkli, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Welcoming his guests in the Rectorate office, Prof. Dr. Çomaklı expressed his satisfaction with the visit and said that international cooperation will always add strength to universities.

Rector Çomaklı pointed out that with the agreement made with the Faculty of Fine Arts, both the representation of Turkey abroad and an art bridge will be established with the people of Uzbekistan, and stated that good works will emerge thanks to the support of institutions to each other.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Nurullayev stated that they are happy to make an agreement with a well-established and high quality university like Atatürk University and that they will work in good cooperation with the Faculty of Fine Arts, which has trained many artists.

Nurullayev emphasised that Turkey and Uzbekistan will get closer in every sense thanks to the unifying power of art and thanked Rector Çomaklı for his hospitality.
