SUPPORT FOR ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY PROJECTS FROM TÜBİTAK...

Atatürk University, a vast science center with a well-equipped infrastructure, faculties, research centers, institutes, vocational schools, and thousands of academicians who are experts in their respective disciplines, is committed to enhancing its contribution to scientific and technological research.

In this context, two significant initiatives of Atatürk University, which is engaged in ongoing research, have been granted funding under the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) 1001 - Support Program for Scientific and Technological Research initiatives.

The project "Growth of Cerium Oxide Single Crystal Thin Films with PLD Technique, Thin Film Transistor Fabrication and Tests" by Prof. Dr. Betül Güzeldir, Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, and Dr. Lecturer, Department of Chemistry, again Faculty of Science, Member Sefa Uçar, "Regioselective Oxidation and Halogenation of Saturated Benzenoid Heterocyclic Compounds with Isocyanuric Acids" were both supported by TÜBİTAK.

Güzeldir and Uçar were congratulated by Atatürk University Vice President Prof. Dr. Bülent Çavuşoğlu and Project Development and Coordination Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Serdar Burmaoğlu, who paid a congratulatory visit to the academicians whose projects were supported.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu: "The Innovative Approach of Our University Is Demonstrated by the Supported Projects"

Prof. Dr. Betül Güzeldir and Assistant Professor Sefa Uçar subsequently visited Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu to discuss their success and happiness. Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, who hosted the academicians whose projects were supported, stated that the projects were compelling evidence of Atatürk University's scientific innovation approach and research capacity.

According to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, these initiatives are intended to enhance the research culture at Atatürk University and elevate the visibility of scientific research. He stated, "Our objective is to establish a research-oriented university that generates universally applicable scientific knowledge, engages in research and development, patents its technology, and leverages its scientific output to benefit society." I extend my congratulations to Prof. Dr. Betül Güzeldir and Assistant. Prof. Dr. Sefa Uçar, whose initiatives are being supported by the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program, and my best wishes for their ongoing success. Our university fosters the pursuit of scientific advancements by encouraging scientists to engage in projects that are acknowledged at both the national and international levels.
