THE SUCCESS OF UNIDES AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY: THE IMPACT OF YOUNG PEOPLE ON THE FUTURE

The ÜNİDES Program, which was implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support the initiatives of university student groups, has just released its second term results. Erzurum experienced substantial success in the program, which provided support for a total of 701 projects throughout Turkey. Erzurum was the province that received the most project support, with 15 initiatives receiving support from Atatürk University and 3 from Erzurum Technical University.

Young People's Dreams Will Be Affected by the Projects

Twelve of the initiatives developed by student groups at Atatürk University were granted local support, while three were granted national support within the program's framework. The initiatives are designed to inspire the aspirations and capabilities of young individuals in a diverse array of fields, including social responsibility, art, science, and technology, as well as personal growth. The innovative approaches employed by the initiatives conducted under the auspices of the Dean of Students' Office at Atatürk University have garnered attention.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu: "This Outcome is a Sign of Our University's Commitment to Promoting Innovation and Quality Education."

According to Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, the success of Erzurum was not a coincidence. He stated, "The outcome of the ÜNİDES Program is indicative of our institution's commitment to innovation and quality education." Our university's support for each initiative is indicative of the aspiration of our youth to contribute to science and society. Projects such as "Artificial Intelligence and Beyond" and "Virtual Reality Therapies" have the potential to significantly impact both the local and national communities. Our youth will make significant contributions to both their own professions and society as future leaders with the assistance provided by our Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Projects Will Be Executed by Young Offices

The Erzurum Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate and Atatürk University will collaborate to execute the supported initiatives. Young Offices will provide students with the necessary guidance to ensure the successful completion of the assignments. Young Office units will provide cultural, artistic, and scientific support to the processes, thereby enabling young people to complete their initiatives more efficiently.

Erzurum's Chief Position

Erzurum's leadership in the ÜNİDES Program, which received over 41 million TL in support throughout Turkey, is indicative of the city's appreciation for young people and their initiatives. This success will persist as a source of inspiration for more substantial initiatives that will enlighten the future of Turkey and Erzurum.
