The Tulpar Racing Team, founded by Atatürk University students, participated in the "Formula Student Italy" competition, the most prestigious student engineering competition in the world, held on the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti track in Italy in 2022, with the first formula vehicle they produced.
Team advisor of Tulpar Racing Team Prof. Dr. Cahit Yeşilyaprak , made by and provided with technical consultancy by ATASAM, achieved international success by reaching the finals in the Formula Student Italy competition, where 135 universities worldwide were accepted this year and 25 university teams made it to the finals.
Held in Parma, Italy in July; The Tulpar Racing Team attracted attention with the "Aura 22", the first vehicle they produced, in the competition, where the leading manufacturers of the automotive industry such as Ferrari, Maserati and Dallara took part, and students from all over the world presented their engineering.
The Tulpar Racing Team, which appeared before the jury by making presentations in English in the fields of "vehicle design, production, business plan and cost" in the competition where a team of 10 people participated with the vehicle they produced, especially in the business plan category as a team, ranked 16th among 135 world universities in the competition where they participated for the first time gained important experience.

Emphasizing that Atatürk University has undertaken contemporary projects with both academicians and students, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı: “The Tulpar Racing Team, consisting of our Engineering Faculty students, who successfully represented both our country and our university by reaching the finals in the international competition with the first formula vehicle they produced, and their vehicle ”Aura 22”, will be held in Samsun this year, Turkey's biggest technology competition TEKNOFEST. It will also take place at the stand of our university. This vehicle, which attracts the attention of young people in particular, will be exhibited and used at TEKNOFEST, and experiences will be shared by answering the questions of enthusiasts by the team that produced the vehicle.
