EUROPEAN UNION OF VETERINARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS TEAM IS AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY
Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı met with the European Association of Veterinary Education Institutions (EAEVE) team, which came to Erzurum to evaluate the international accreditation application of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr.Yavuz Selim Sağlam.
Rector Çomaklı: “We Closely Follow the Changes in the World”
Rector Çomaklı, who stated that they would be pleased to host the EAEVE team at Atatürk University during the evaluation period they will carry out between 15-19 November 2021, said: “Atatürk University, with its education experience of more than 65 years, makes significant contributions to the development of the region and the country. Our university has set its goals in line with world standards and has created strategies to realize them. Our university, which closely follows the changes occurring in the world and in our country, plays a very important role in shaping the bright future with its distinguished academic-administrative staff and highly qualified students. Our University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine also successfully continues its education, research and animal health services. As the Atatürk University administration, I would like to state that we will continue to provide all kinds of support to our faculty in the future, as we have done so far. The fact that our Veterinary Faculty is internationally accredited will motivate our other faculties as well. On this occasion, I wish the EAEVE team, which we hosted in Erzurum, the city of civilization, all the best.”
“Our Faculty Serves at International Standards”
Expressing that the international accreditation of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will contribute significantly to the internationalization of Atatürk University, Dean Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selim Sağlam, on the other hand, made the following evaluations about the visit: “Our faculty provides services at international standards. We continue our studies for our region with our expert academic staff and equipped laboratories. On the occasion of this visit, we will learn about our shortcomings and what needs to be done in line with the report to be submitted by the EAEVE team, and we will strive to eliminate them. In this direction, I would like to express once again that we are very happy to host the team responsible for this accreditation evaluation visit made by the European Association of Veterinary Education Institutions (EAEVE) to our Veterinary Faculty on 15-19 November 2021, and I wish the result to be beneficial.”
