KARS GULIYEV, THE CONSUL GENERAL OF AZERBAIJAN, VISITED RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU TO EXTEND HIS CONGRATULATIONS.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu of Atatürk University received a congratulatory visit from Consul General of Azerbaijan in Kars, Nuru Guliyev.
The robust and cordial relationships between the two brotherly nations of Turkey and Azerbaijan were once again underscored during the visit. Rector Hacımüftüoğlu emphasized that Turkey has consistently supported Azerbaijan in its quest for independence and that the two nations have maintained a robust relationship throughout history.
The bridge of hearts, which was established by Azerbaijani students studying at Atatürk University, was also discussed during the meeting. According to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, the cultural diversity and academic environment of the university were significantly influenced by Azerbaijani students. He further stated, "This bond between us and our Azerbaijani brothers is not only an academic relationship, but also a bridge of friendship that leaves deep marks in our hearts." Atatürk University will persist in its efforts to fortify the robust relationship between the two nations. Consul General Guliyev expressed his satisfaction with the opportunities that Atatürk University provides to Azerbaijani students and expressed his hope that the educational and cultural cooperation between the two countries will continue to grow. Guliyev stated, "The cooperation in the field of education contributes to the further strengthening of this strong bond of brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan." Our Azerbaijani pupils have adopted Atatürk University as their second residence.
The visit concluded with mutual goodwill wishes for the continued growth of relations and joint initiatives between the two nations.
