The Spring Festival, which is traditionally held by Atatürk University every year, was full of fun this year as usual. In the Spring Festival held on the campus area between 25-27 May 2022, the students had the chance to have fun just before the week of exams.

Various activities and shows took place in the events organized with the concept of "Spring, Science, Art and Sports Festival" in 2022. The festival organized by KKEF included folk dances, award ceremonies, DJ performances, talks, plays and concerts, book reading sessions, and food and beverage was offered free of charge by the Tourism Faculty. The workshops established by the Faculty of Fine Arts and the tracks organized by the Faculty of Sports Sciences became the focus of attention for the students.

In the evening of the activities that lasted throughout the day, famous artists took the stage and gave the students unforgettable moments. Irmak Arıcı, one of the most popular names in recent times, came together with the students on the second day of the events where İMERA, one of the most popular bands among the students, took the stage on the first day of the festival. The  closing of the festival  took place with Hasan Koçak's performances, who is the champion of this year's  'O Ses Türkiye Contest',

Stating that they are happy to meet with the students again with such a wide-ranging organization as a spring festival after two-year pandemic period, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı pointed out that universities, while continuing their education and training, should also work to help students' social, cultural, artistic and personal development.

“We do not separate our young people from our own children”

We will continue to contribute to the development of the city and the country with both activities and scientific studies in the following years. We never distinguish our young people, who are entrusted to us by their families, from our own children. We will continue to do our best so that our young people, who are the guarantees of the future, will prove promising children for the country and the nation, with the works we carry out by giving importance to the demands and wishes of our students, Çomaklı finished his words.

Rector Çomaklı thanked the artists, staff and those who have contributed to the realization of the festivities, and especially the students participating in the spring festival, wishing them success in their final exams.
