Prof. Dr. Orhan Ateş, who was elected AK Party Bayburt deputy in the May 28th General Elections for the 28th Parliamentary Term,  visited Rector of Atatürk University, Ömer Çomaklı.

Prof. Dr. Rector Çomaklı welcomed Orhan Ateş to his office, who previously served as Deputy Chief Physician and academician at Atatürk University, conversing with his visitor about the university's academic endeavors.

Çomaklı stated that, over the course of its history, Atatürk University has contributed a number of illustrious figures to the country's administration. In addition, he stated that Ateş is an essential value for Atatürk University.

Prof. Dr. Çomaklı said: "With its new generation vision, Atatürk University, the center of the region, contributes significantly to the country's higher education. We are achieving significant success in both accrediting the units and patenting the resulting knowledge. We are in cooperation and solidarity with all pertinent individuals, institutions, and organizations in order to expedite the university's development. Ateş has continued to support us throughout his tenure as an academician and as a member of the legislature. I would like to thank him and wish him success in his work."

Bayburt Deputy Professor Dr. Orhan Ateş thanked Ömer Çomaklı for his hospitality, stating that Atatürk University holds a special spot in his heart and that he feels at home here. He congratulated Rector Çomaklı for the completed and ongoing projects, noting that he closely monitors the development of the university.
