Atatürk University, which has gained recognition in recent years for its educational reforms and initiatives, maintains the accreditation procedure for faculties, programs, and units by the appropriate authorities.
The Education Programs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, an institution fully affiliated with the European Network For Accreditation Of Engineering Education (ENAEE), have been accredited for a duration of two years. ZİDEK, the Faculty of Agriculture at Atatürk University, specialized in Agricultural Machinery and Technologies, has successfully completed its studies in this area.
As the ZİDEK delegation persists in its inquiry at Atatürk University, it concurrently undertakes the assessment of the accredited procedures employed by the Faculty of Fisheries' Fisheries Engineering Program.
Rector Ömer Çomaklı was honored with the Accreditation Certificate of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies of the Faculty of Agriculture by ZİDEK Evaluation Team President Prof. Dr. Canan Abay, who paid him a visit in connection with the accreditation process of the Fisheries Engineering Program and the accreditation of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies of the Faculty of Agriculture.
During the evaluation of the Fisheries Engineering Department's accreditation process at the Faculty of Fisheries, Rector Çomaklı underscored the expeditious accreditation of Atatürk University's faculties, programs, and units.
Çomaklı, the rector of Atatürk University, conveyed his contentment regarding the accreditation bestowed by ZİDEK upon the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technologies of the Faculty of Agriculture. The accreditation was granted subsequent to an evaluation of the final report, which incorporated pertinent criteria and assessed academic procedures, physical infrastructure, and administrative operations as assessed by team members. Based on this document, the department satisfies the requisite criteria.
Rector Çomaklı expressed unwavering confidence that the Fisheries Engineering Department would be promptly accredited, noting that the ZİDEK evaluation team previously assessed the department's human resources, physical resource adequacy, technology and IT infrastructure, and academic activities.
