PERFORMANCES OF ICE SKATING ATHLETES WILL BE MEASURED AT ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY
A cooperation protocol was signed between Atatürk University and the Turkish Ice Skating Federation.
The Athlete Performance Measurement Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center, which is among the most complex athlete testing centers serving within Atatürk University, continues to cooperate with many institutions and organizations.
In this context, Atatürk University Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Keskin and Federation President Gökhan Özdemir signed a cooperation protocol for the physical performance measurements of the Ice Skating Federation athletes. Fuat Taşkesenligil, Erzurum Provincial Director of Youth and Sports as well as Ice Skating Federation Board Member, and Sports Sciences Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Fatih Kıyıcı and faculty members of the Faculty of Sports Sciences were also present at the protocol ceremony;
The Center Serves Athletes from Many Different Branches
Noting that many sports clubs and many athletes have benefited from the Athlete Performance Measurement Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center, which is among the outputs of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, which continues under the leadership of rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı and has recently entered a new phase, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Keskin stated that with the signed protocol, Ice Skating Athletes will also benefit from the center.
The results will be analyzed by the technical team and turned into a report.
Expressing that the center is a great opportunity for athletes, Federation President Gökhan Özdemir thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Çomaklı and those who contributed to the establishment of such an important department put at the disposal of athlets. President Özdemir also said that the cooperation will be instrumental in the implementation of the necessary training programs by measuring the performances of the athletes and the results obtained will be analyzed by the technical team, and wished the protocol to be beneficial.
