Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, issued a message in honor of Republic Day on October 29. The following phrases were employed by Rector Hacımüftüoğlu in his message:

❝We are currently enjoying the joy of commemorating the Republic Day of October 29 with great pride and enthusiasm. The Republic is not merely a form of government; it also serves as a representation of our nation's sovereignty, freedom, and independence. We are motivated and fortified to venerate these values by the epic struggle that Erzurum waged during the establishment of our Republic. The Republic, which Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk referred to as "my greatest work," places a greater burden on each of us and motivates us to progress.

We would like to reiterate the significance of acting in unity and solidarity on this significant day in order to fortify our heritage from the past. The Republic is the manifestation of an understanding that recognizes our differences as a source of richness and establishes the groundwork for our brotherhood. In accordance with this conviction, Atatürk University is exerting itself to construct the promising future of our Republic. Our objective is to enhance the quality of education, develop innovative initiatives, and demonstrate our commitment to service to society by making a meaningful contribution to our country. With the power we have acquired from the past, we will persist in our efforts to produce and labor more than ever in order to elevate our nation by uniting in solidarity and unity.

We remember all of our heroes who contributed to the establishment of our Republic with respect, gratitude, and mercy, particularly Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, with these sentiments and thoughts.
