The countdown for the Eastern Anatolia Career Fair (DAKAF'22) has begun. Dakaf’22 will be held on March 7-8, 2022 and hosted by Atatürk University.

Eastern Anatolia Career Fair (DAKAF), which is one of the Regional Career Fairs initiated by the Presidential Human Resources Office (CBİKO) with the slogan "Talent is Everywhere", will be held this year with the hosting of Atatürk University and the partnership of 9 universities. The fair, which will host various personal and professional development activities, panels, workshops, trainings, simulation programs, and interviews with human resources managers of companies, aims to contribute to the employment and career orientation of young people by bringing together all universities regionally. With the sponsorship of about 40 companies and around 300 participating companies, DAKAF'22 will bring together valuable guests, leading companies in their sectors, and tens of thousands of students.

Rector Çomaklı: “DAKAF Offers Great Opportunities and Opportunities for Employment”

Reminding that they also hosted the Eastern Anatolia Career Fair before the coronavirus pandemic, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that the previous fair hosted approximately 50 thousand people and contributed significantly to the careers of students and graduates. Rector Çomaklı stated that they aim to attend at least 50 thousand participants this year as well: “We are continuing the preparations with a team of 250 people consisting of academicians, unit managers, and volunteer students. Regional career fairs, initiated by the Presidency of Human Resources with the theme of 'Talent is Everywhere', offer great chances and opportunities in employment for our young people who will take important roles in the future of our country. We are happy to be hosting a significant project that was realized by considering the academic development of our students and their career and future goals. With these thoughts, I invite all students studying in our region, sector managers, and institution representatives to DAKAF 22, and I hope that the fair will be auspicious.”

The Fair Acquired an International Dimension

Dakaf'22 has Acquired an international dimension with the participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Erzurum Consulate General, Tabriz University, and East Azerbaijan Technopolis.DAKAF 22 is sponsored by İbrahim Çeçen Yatırım Holding A.Ş., (IC Holding), ÇAYKUR, Doyum Su, MNG Shopping and Life Center, ETSO, Yavuz Tekstil and Atatürk University Open Education Faculty. Approximately 300 institutions and organizations from the public and private sector which are leaders in their fields will participate in Dakaf'22. Some of these institutions are TRT, Aytemiz Petrol, Polifarma, AKLAB Group, ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, Vakıf Katılım, Hilton Garden Inn, Flexi Group, Erzurum Commodity Stock Exchange. In Dakaf'22 students and graduates will have the opportunity to learn about the issues that will shape their future such as internship opportunities, employment opportunities, and career planning.
