One notable outcome of the Digital University initiative implemented at Atatürk University is the "Road Map of Digital University Transformation" study, which was formulated by examining the integration of digital transformation into the institution in accordance with the New Council of Higher Education's (YOK) overarching vision.

The implementation of the "7-dimensional strategic model in digital transformation" at Atatürk University, which was created as part of the project, represents an unprecedented approach to assessing the digital capabilities of academic institutions, establishing strategies and objectives for digitalization, and regularly monitoring and enhancing these capabilities. Furthermore, it functions as a manual for other academic institutions to follow.

Prof. Dr. Bülent Çavuşoğlu, coordinator of the Digital Transformation and Software Office, asserts that the scientific perspective and exemplary implementations of Atatürk University's digital transformation strategy have been thoroughly expounded upon in the study. Rector of Atatürk University Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that the Digital Transformation and Software Office, which was established as part of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, has introduced numerous innovations. The office's objective is to enhance the learning experience and foster greater student interaction through the integration of cutting-edge educational tools, including virtual classroom environments and interactive learning platforms, into the academic curricula. He stated that in order to increase the university's research capacity, they provide researchers with digital library services, data analysis tools, and research management systems, which facilitate the sharing and management of scientific discoveries and publications in a more efficient manner.
