Atatürk University Faculty of Pharmacy Accreditation Document Presentation Ceremony, which was fully accredited for the second time for 6 years by the National Pharmacy Education Accreditation Board, took place at Atatürk University, 15 July National Will Hall. Faculty of Pharmacy Dean, Board of Directors of the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Pharmacy Education Programs (ECZAKDER), representatives of the 13th Regional Chamber of Pharmacists, academic and administrative staff and students attended the ceremony.

Ceremony started with the opening speech of Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Prof. Dr. Yücel Kadıoğlu. Kadıoğlu in his speech stated that the rector of Atatürk University and the senior management supported the accreditation process of the Faculty of Pharmacy from the application period to the end, appreciating the efforts of the faculty members and stakeholders of the faculty in managing this process, and added that they would try to continuously improve the quality assurance, education-training, research and management quality in the next process.

Afterwards, ECZAKDER President Prof. Dr. M. Seçkin Özden made a presentation summarizing the importance of the accreditation process and the activities carried out in this field. The ceremony, which was held at Atatürk University's 15 July National Will Hall, ended with the family photo being taken.

Rector Çomaklı: “We are carrying out the necessary studies for all our programs to be accredited”

Meeting with the delegation after the ceremony, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı expressed his gratitude to the delegation on behalf of all students by mentioning the achievements of the accreditation documents both in the undergraduate life of the students and the contributions they made after graduation. Reminding that the quality education provided by Atatürk University has been accredited by YÖKAK, Rector Çomaklı said: “In addition, our valuable accreditation boards such as ECZAKDER hold a big mirror for us by looking from the outside in order to see the continuity of our education in accordance with the standards and our areas of improvement. As a university, we both maintain quality processes 365 days and carry out the necessary studies to ensure that all our programs are accredited. In this sense, the Faculty of Pharmacy is, of course, one of our faculties that we are proud of. The accreditation processes of our other programs continue successfully. Our aim is not to leave any unaccredited departments. With these thoughts, I would like to thank our guests once again for the interest and sensitivity they have shown throughout the process, I wish them success in their studies, and I wish our Faculty of Pharmacy accreditation certificate to be beneficial.”

The visit program ended with the accreditation document being presented to Rector Çomaklı by ECZAKDER President Prof. Dr. M. Seçkin Özden.
