ERASMUS+ PROGRAM 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR STUDENT MOBILITY APPLICATIONS CONTINUE
The application period for student mobility for the Erasmus+ Program 2023-2024 KA131 and 2022-2023 KA171 Projects for the academic year 2024-2025 will remain open until 23:59 on Thursday, April 4, 2024. These applications are being processed by the Foreign Relations Office Coordinatorship of Atatürk University.
The "2024 KA131 Project" aims to establish a grand total of 43 mobility quotas for doctoral and associate degree programs (fall and spring semesters) for the 2024/2025 academic year. Each of the 43 quotas will be allocated to a specific faculty, institute, vocational school, or college, irrespective of department. There will be one competent candidate pre-placed.
It was stated that a final placement would be determined at the conclusion of the evaluation process as part of the "2023 KA131 Project," given that grants will be distributed to candidates who meet the requirements of the ongoing internship mobility project at the Foreign Relations Office, which has a quota of "35 internship mobility." 1 candidate with the highest Erasmus score from each Faculty, Institute, Vocational School, or College, irrespective of department, will be selected for this discipline, within the quota announced in the same manner.
As part of the ongoing KA171 Project, 15 students from 12 countries will be granted the opportunity to engage in educational mobility during 2022 and 2023, subject to the predetermined quotas.
Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the rector of Atatürk University, commented on the matter, stating that student exchange programs hold significant value for an institution that has made notable strides in the realm of internationalization. Furthermore, he stated that this matter is consistently addressed in the protocol articles of agreements with universities across the globe.
Çomaklı recalled that the Erasmus+ Project entitled "Career 4.0 from the Eyes of Young People" was granted funding by the Turkish National Agency of the EU Presidency in February of last year. In describing the organization's approach to management, which prioritizes students and maintains a strong student ecosystem, he stated that they acted in accordance with this policy.
