Rasim Cinisli who is one of the ex-parliamentarian  of Erzurum addressed to the Young at Ataturk University

Rasim Cinisli who has contributed into many non-governmental organisations and witnessed to idea, art and politic events of Turkey in the last 50 years visited the Rector Prof. Dr.Ömer Çomaklı at the Atatürk university where he came to attend the conference named “ the Memory of an Era”

Being held at 15 Temmuz Milli İrade Salonu ,(15^th July National Will Hall)  Rector Çomaklı and Rasim Cinisli attend together to the conference; also  Ünal Bingül- the Chief Prosecutor of the Regional Court, Mustafa Çetin-the Chief Judge of Regional Court, Hüseyin Koçan- the Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, the academicians and students attended.

The Rector Çomaklı who gave his speech by going up to the rostrum stated that coming together with Rasim Cinisli - the memory of recent history-who represented Erzurum at The National Grand Assembly of Turkey for 2 terms was a great pleasure. Çomaklı began his words by saying “Behind the old cultural and scientific centres like Erzurum, we also see the sentimental values. One of these values is the man of idea, politics and arts Rasim Cinisli who has contributions in many non-governmental organisation in Turkey’s last 50 years

Rector Çomaklı: “Rasim  Cinisli is a person who will be taken as a role model with his experience and a  heartfelt man who will shed the light for the future with his memories as well”

Çomaklı who had said that the people who had spent their life by defending the truths, struggling to live the right way by paying the price for this are treasures hard to find: “ The Memory of an Era Mr.Rasim Cinisli is a person who will be taken as a role model with his experience and a heartfelt man who will shed the light for the future with his memories written by himself. Cinisli who tells us in all aspects that you can not bend the truth is the witness of an important era of the politic history of our country and a man of action who is a lover of country struggled for lawless and unfair implementations.

The Rector Prof. Dr. Çomaklı who indicated that Rasim Cinisli had a good reputation in politic scene with standing on his dignity and his fair personality: “ He presented “ Bir Devrin Hafızası” (The Memory of an Era) which contains the important events of our recent history that he witnessed himself and the truths which is forgotten or desired to forget to the archive of our country. By this means I am expressing my gratitude to Dear Rasim Cinisli for his visit.”

“The Most Important Wealth  of a Nation is Youth”

Rasim Cinisli  who gave his speech by going up to the rostrum said that he was glad to come  together with young people in his country. Beginning his speech by saying that his world-view had begun in school years, Cinisli said: “Democratic Party for which I was a parliament member for 2 terms had made Turkey embraced democracy. At this period when great investments were made and began to have the fruits of them, Turkey passed important thresholds and covered a great distance but the forces who did not want our country to develop staged 27th may coup d’état.

Cinisli who emphasized that Turkey should protect its democracy experience for many years stated that “I learnt science and discipline by being right besides scholars like Ali Fuat Başgil, Mümtaz Turhan and Nurettin Topçu. At this environment, the young people need to go back the principle of science and discipline.” Cinisli also stated that he wrote the memory book “ Bir Devrin Hafızası” in order to pay his duty of loyalty for dear people of  Erzurum.

 Rasim Cinisli who gave advice to the young at the end of his speech finished his words by saying: “Young person means future. The most important wealth of a nation is youth. For this reason all the eyes are on youth. You need to be well-equipped to respond the needs of your family and country.”

The programme ended with presenting a plaque.
