The esteemed Rector of Atatürk University, Professor Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, has graciously conveyed a message in commemoration of the anniversary of the Erzurum Congress. In his message, Rector Çomaklı employed the subsequent statements:

I extend my heartfelt felicitations on the commemoration of the anniversary of the Erzurum Congress, a seminal event in which the bedrock of the Republic of Turkey was established, rekindling the indomitable spirit of the Turkish populace and igniting the fervor for national liberation.

Whenever the venerable Turkish nation encountered a challenging predicament, it consistently derived the requisite resolve and exertion from its own innermost being. The valiant forebears valiantly safeguarded the motherland, paying the ultimate sacrifice, while contemplating the contemporary era in which we presently reside.

On this auspicious occasion, marking the 104th anniversary of the Erzurum Congress, I humbly extend my heartfelt remembrance to all the valiant martyrs, particularly the esteemed Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his esteemed comrades-in-arms, with profound mercy. Furthermore, I express my deep gratitude to our esteemed veterans, as I commemorate their invaluable contributions.
