Mustafa Güven, President of Erzurum Civil Society Platform (ESTP), which plays an important role in the communication of Atatürk University with Non-Governmental Organizations, and board membes paid a visit to Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

During the visit, which took place in a friendly manner, the University - NGO meetings were evaluated, and it was stated that the 10th University - NGO meetings will continue.

Rector Çomaklı stated that Atatürk University and Erzurum Civil Society Platform continue to work hand in hand for the integration and development of the city and the university, thanking ESTP President Mustafa Güvenli and his management for their visit. Rector Çomaklı said that he closely follows the work of ESTP, which includes non-governmental organizations, foundations and associations working on the social, cultural and historical texture of the city, adding: “Civil society organizations that allow people to cooperate, socialize and demonstrate their talents are of vital importance for the cities where they are located. Once again, I would like to thank all our institutions and organizations that have contributed to the progress of that city by adhering to its roots, to the preservation of its values,  and to the preservation of its national and spiritual texture. I would like to state once again that we, as Atatürk University, will support their works on a voluntary basis, as always, and I wish them success in their work.”

Stating that the communication bridge established with Atatürk University in recent years is getting stronger and this reflects positively on the city, ESTP President Mustafa Güvenli said that Atatürk University uses its knowledge and experience for the public, thus integrating with the whole city, and paving the way for this, he thanked the entire university family, especially rector Çomaklı.
