A COOPERATION PROTOCOL FOR COMMON WORKING AREAS WAS SIGNED BETWEEN THE ERZURUM GOVERNORSHIP AND ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY.
Erzurum Governorate and Atatürk University participated in the signing of a strategic cooperation protocol for grant support initiatives at the local, national, and international levels. The signing ceremony, which was witnessed by Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi and Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, is expected to result in collaborative efforts on a variety of subjects.
At the ceremony conducted in the Governorate meeting hall, Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi and Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the significance of the protocol in the development of Erzurum.

Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi emphasized the significance of the protocol, asserting that this collaboration will significantly accelerate the city's development initiatives. Governor Çiftçi stated, "Erzurum is on the brink of becoming a pioneering city in numerous sectors due to its potential." By integrating the coordination capabilities of our Governorate with the expertise of Atatürk University, we will optimize this potential. He stated, "We will advance Erzurum with harmony and common sense."

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, underscored the protocol's status as one of the most exceptional illustrations of collaboration between universities and the public. Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "At Atatürk University, we are accountable for educational and training initiatives, as well as initiatives that promote regional development." This protocol will enable us to sign more robust initiatives by leveraging the coordination power of the Erzurum Governorship and our academic knowledge and scientific experience. I am optimistic that this collaboration will be advantageous to our metropolis.
Protocol Scope
The signed protocol is intended to execute initiatives in a variety of sectors, including Agriculture and Rural Development, Technology and Innovation, Education, Health, Environment, and Energy. The parties intend to involve young people and local stakeholders in the process by conducting joint training programs. A commission will be established to oversee the initiatives and guarantee their sustainability.
