ERZURUM GOVERNOR MUSTAFA ÇIFTÇI'S RETURN VISIT TO RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU
Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the rector of Atatürk University, received a visit from Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi.
The significance of Atatürk University for Erzurum was once again underscored by Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, who wished Rector Hacımüftüoğlu success in his new role. Governor Çiftçi stated, "Atatürk University is not only a highly successful academic institution, but it also significantly contributes to the social, cultural, and economic development of Erzurum." I extend my congratulations to you for accepting this obligation. We will always be by the side of our university and will collaborate on beautiful initiatives as the Governor's Office.
Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu conveyed his satisfaction with Governor Çiftçi's visit and provided information about Atatürk University's future vision and objectives. Hacımüftüoğlu: "Our university's primary objective is to establish a reputation for itself through scientific research at both the national and international levels, while also maintaining a structure that is in harmony with our city." Our collaboration with our governorship is of significant importance to us in this regard. He stated, "We will collaborate to establish Erzurum as a hub of education, culture, and science."

During the meeting, Governor Çiftçi and Rector Hacımüftüoğlu engaged in a discussion regarding the socio-cultural development of Erzurum, the enhancement of the quality of education, and the further development of university-city relations. During the visit, the university's initiatives to enhance its contributions to the city were highlighted. It was observed that collaborative research could be conducted to support cultural and artistic activities that will enhance the social lives of students, as well as to enhance the university's contributions to the regional economy.
Governor Mustafa Çiftçi declared at the conclusion of the visit that the governor's office and Atatürk University would maintain their robust partnership. He stated, "We will continue to collaborate with our university to advance the development of our city and country, and we will conduct an accurate assessment of Erzurum's potential." Rector Hacımüftüoğlu declared that the institutions would collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders and that the synergy they would generate would have a beneficial impact on the city.
The visit concluded with Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi discussing the exemplary publications he had brought to scientifically address the history of Erzurum with Rector Hacımüftüoğlu and exchanging ideas on these works.
