RECTOR PROF. DR. HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU RECEIVES A CONGRATULATORY VISIT FROM ETU RECTOR PROF. DR. ÇAKMAK.

Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, the rector of Erzurum Technical University (ETU), visited rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu in his office to extend his congratulations on his new role. During the visit, the two universities underscored their affinity and brotherhood with one another.

The visit was attended by ETU Vice rector Prof. Dr.  Ali Fatih Yetim, ETU Faculty of Engineering Dean Prof. Dr. Demiraydın, and Faculty of Science Dean Prof. Dr. Ümit İncekara.

Çakmak expressed his satisfaction with Hacımüftüoğlu's appointment as rector of Atatürk University, stating, "As two universities in Erzurum that have consistently fulfilled the country's higher education needs, we have consistently provided mutual support and are committed to enhancing these cordial relationships." Under Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu's leadership, I am confident that Atatürk University will attain greater success.

 Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the visit and declared that his collaboration with Erzurum Technical University will persist in its current growth. Hacımüftüoğlu: "We will persist in our efforts to make a positive impact on Erzurum and our nation as two universities." He stated that our scientific collaborations will be further fortified by these connections of friendship and brotherhood.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of ideas regarding joint projects and future collaborations between the two universities, which proceeded with ETÜ Rector Çakmak's invitation to Rector Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu to the 7th Europe-Asia Biodiversity Symposium, which is scheduled to commence on August 22 and in which Atatürk University is also a stakeholder.
