EVYAP DELEGATION VISITS ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY FOR PHARMACEUTICAL RAW MATERIAL PRODUCTION FACILITY...

Atatürk University has taken another advance towards collaboration in order to execute initiatives of strategic significance in the pharmaceutical and health sectors. In this context, Altuğ Güzeldere, the Company Lawyer at EVYAP, one of Turkey's foremost industrial organisations, and Talat Yamaç, the Company Construction Manager, convened with Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University.

The protocol procedure and collaboration details for the Pharmaceutical Raw Material Production Facility that is to be established at Atatürk University were reviewed during the meeting. There was a mutual discussion of technical issues concerning the establishment of the production infrastructure, land and construction planning, legal framework, and scientific support areas.

"We Continue to Lead Projects that Prioritise Domestic Production," stated Rector Hacımüftüoğlu.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, conducted an evaluation subsequent to the visit. He underscored the strategic significance of university-industry partnerships. Hacımüftüoğlu stated, "At Atatürk University, we are committed to directing initiatives that will decrease our nation's reliance on foreign sources in the healthcare sector and prioritise domestic and qualified production." The Pharmaceutical Raw Material Production Facility initiative, which we are implementing in collaboration with a reputable and robust company like EVYAP, is a tangible illustration of this vision. We are currently engaged in the essential deliberations for this initiative, which will leverage the production potential of our region and the research capacity of our university. I am confident that the procedure will produce favourable outcomes. After considering these considerations, I would like to express my gratitude to the EVYAP family for their assistance in the completion of this significant undertaking.

It was reported that the parties reached an agreement to commence the official protocol procedure after the technical and legal preparations were finalised during the meeting. The objective of the initiative is to train qualified human resources for the pharmaceutical industry and to effectively utilise local resources in the production of raw materials, which are one of the fundamental inputs.

This strategic partnership between Atatürk University and EVYAP will enable the university to transition from a purely academic institution to one that is dedicated to production and development.
