THE ERASMUS+ PROJECT TITLED CAREER 4.0 FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF YOUNG PEOPLE IS ELIGIBLE FOR SUPPORT

Atatürk University, as a regional coordinator and partner in the Erasmus+ Project titled Career 4.0 from the Eyes of Young People, was eligible for funding from the Turkish National Agency of the EU Presidency.

The "Career 4.0 from the Eyes of Youth" initiative was developed in collaboration with Atatürk University, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Karadeniz Technical University, Kayseri University, İzmir High Technology Institute, Mardin Artuklu University, Sakarya University, and Civil Life Association as part of the Erasmus + KA154 program. The objective is to provide tangible support for the "European Year of Skills" that is set to occur in 2023.

Tobe conducted under the direction of Res. Assist. Alaeddin Türkmen from Hatay Mustafa Kemal University , the initiative will assist young people in their career planning endeavors, facilitate the promotion of technology transfer offices and career centers, and offer policy recommendations pertaining to the career planning processes of young people. Seven regional workshops and a national summit will be coordinated in accordance with these objectives during the course of the initiative.

A Workshop on the Eastern Anatolia Region Will Be Conducted at Atatürk University.

Students from approximately 30 universities will participate in the Eastern Anatolia Region Workshop of the project in 2024 at Atatürk University, which will be co-coordinated by Career Planning and Alumni Tracking Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Neslihan Kulözü Uzunboy on behalf of Atatürk University and Deputy Dean of the Dean of Students Assoc. Prof. Meral Oltulu. A concluding summit will be convened in Ankara subsequent to the project activities. These activities, which additionally seek to foster the development of entrepreneurial and career communities and enhance their capabilities through the transmission of career planning opportunities via an electronic learning module, are all objectives of the project. The policy recommendations and tangible results acquired will be transmitted to the officials of the Presidential Human Resources Office as well as the members of parliament who are members of the pertinent commissions within the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

"We Have an Understanding That Places Our Students at the Center," stated Rector Çomaklı.

It is further stated that the initiative will support the extracurricular personal development of young people, reduce skill mismatch, and foster a culture of collaboration among universities.  Çomaklı, the rector of Atatürk University, expressed delight at the institution's decision to serve as the venue for the regional phase of this significant student-centric initiative, adding that the student community is vibrant. The individual asserted that the organization operates by implementing a management strategy that maintains its focus on students. The "Career 4.0 from the Eyes of Youth" initiative serves as a significant manifestation of this characteristic, in his opinion.
