A notable delegation led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu will participate in the meeting scheduled at the Boston University Photonics Centre on Friday, 9 May 2025, at 15:30 (Boston time).

More than 100 attendees are anticipated to attend the event, including several professors and PhD candidates, particularly from Harvard University, MIT, and Boston University. The primary objective of the conference is to introduce the new scholarship and academic collaboration program to be instituted by Atatürk University. Scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing a PhD in engineering, health sciences, and social sciences in the USA as part of the program. The initiative targets scholars to engage in scientific education and academic exchange programs in the USA for a minimum duration of three months.

Through this initiative, Atatürk University seeks to forge direct connections with universities, faculties, and research laboratories throughout the USA and cultivate partnerships with institutions capable of hosting researchers.

The meeting, to which scholars from several places, particularly Boston, Massachusetts, are invited, will be conducted online in a hybrid format and will provide numerous participation options. The meeting at Boston University aims to enhance scientific collaboration between the two nations and provide the groundwork for prospective collaborative initiatives.
